So Today i went to the Dentist

Trust me, I've had worse ideas. But it was long over due so I made an appointment and actually showed up. After a 3 hour appointment I walk out of there not feeling half of my face, talking like Sid the Sloth. But lets start with the positives, I have ZERO cavities!!! BUT I have to have quadrant cleaning, 3 separate appointments, and in 8 days I will be back in there for 3 hours while they yank my wisdom teeth out.... Seriously. What did I ever do to them?!? oh and here is the "Best" Part I need fucking braces! sorry about my language mom, but I literally made it to almost 29 years old....what do I get for my birthday?? BRACES?!?!?! but don't worry I wont get them until after cabo....one simply doesn't go to cabo with braces! well I guess I could get clear ones.

So I leave there, go to work feeling like half my face is falling off, sluring my words and my boss is wondering if it was really the dentist I came back from ha ha ha. Listen, im not the kinda person to get drunk at work...any more anyways! which reminds me, I have been sober for 109 days!! Since New years eve I have not had a single sip of alcohol in my body. Which sucks only once a month realistically. I was talking to Matt yesterday about if we were going to drink on our Cabo vacation. I always had the idea that I would be sipping margaritas all day on a vacation...But sober people don't do that. But hey they can make anything a virgin, well except Lindsay Lohan ha ha ha ha.
But back to my melting face, this is just another awesome day, where I can still eat without looking like a dumbass. Thankfully two of my meals are shakes. I owe this to Herbalife lol. And not to mention, I totally wore my Herbalife pin to the dentist, and got two new contacts! How exciting is that!??!

8 Reasons Why I love Lifting Better than Cardio

Rasons why I love lifting weights instead of doing lots of cardio:

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't always a big lifter. Infact I had the same thoughts that many others did. "if I lift I will get bulky" not the case actually. Although I did enjoy my zumba classes, hated spinning class but did it anyway I just didn't see the results I craved.

You become strong, and that makes you feel pretty damn awesome about yourself. Being able to lift heavy shit is much more empowering than being able to run 5km in 20 minutes – which I’ll totally never be able to do FYI.

The risk of getting injuries is much lower than if you’re running or cycling. No shin splints, broken bones, sore feet or knees, no falling off bikes or potentially getting hit by cars. It’s way better for your joints and there’s nowhere near as much damage being done to your body.
You can sculpt your body. Build a big, round squat booty, strong arms, ripped abs – whatever you please!
Your body continues to burn calories loooooong after you’ve finished a weight session, and cardio only burns them while you’re doing it. Clear winner = weights.

I find that cardio makes me WAY too hungry. Like absolutely ravenous. Then I eat like everything in sight, which is obviously not ideal when trying to lose weight.

It’s much less stressful. I was constantly worrying about my next training session, or the fact that I was too slow, not fit enough, would make a fool of myself etc etc. With weights, I literally can’t wait to get up in the morning and go to the gym. It is my actual favorite part of the day.

Results come quicker. Not just weight loss but you will be up to the next level of lifting well before you can beat your cardio PBs. The picture above was three months ago and I’ve made huge progress since!

It’s actually the perfect complement to sport. I became much faster at running when I started working on my leg strength.

Obviously any kind of fitness that makes you happy and gets you active is the main thing, because the way you feel is more important than anything else. (Write that down.)
But I love weight lifting and I highly recommend it, if you’re not already doing it.
Obviously teamed with healthy food!… (Write that down, too.)

Working Out

Ok I'm just gonna say it, im a flippin cheap ass. I make good money dont get me wrong, i just DONT want to spend it. THAT being said, I have been working out at home. Last year around tax time i got all jazzed up about the potential hot summer body i was going to have so i bought an eliptical thing from walmart.,I had this vision that i was going to set it up on my massive deck and just go downtown to pound town on it. Well it stayed a thought and i got on the bitch like once, ok twice but just to prove a point to my husband that i did it more than once.  So thus it is tax season again. No i didn't buy another one, i just set the old one up just in case i wanted to try again...i think that day is coming. But in the mean time i have been doing other little work outs. My Herbalife Coach Dalis sent me all kinds of awesome work outs. I have to tell you, I woke up so damn sore this morning, it kinda felt good...you know the good kind of burn. I felt like an idiot while i was doing them because it had been so long. But i found this picture and it totally confirmed that im not the only idiot who looks like they are taking a piss on a hydrant.

I have noticed, that with all the work outs that i am doing ( i put 5 pound weights on my ankles when i do this BTW) MY weight NUMBER has stalled, but i take weekly pictures and i can definitely see the difference.
I freaked out the first few days i didn't see a change in my number on the scale. I not so calmly text my Dalis and freaked out. She politely told me to calm my tits and realize that what i was doing was burning fat and gaining muscle. Hense seeing the difference on my body and not the difference in the scale.
That one was hard i am honestly addicted to my scale. So my husband did what any gentleman would do, He hid the fucker. Awesome, so now im freaking out and can't find my scale. But hey, maybe being a nervous wreck for another week will help.

Ok love ya weirdos. Hope you all are doing well! Here is to another Herbalife Week!
